Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Hungary Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the navigation and maps app market in Hungary showed diverse trends across the top-performing applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user patterns.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at 9.7K in early November. However, downloads tapered off to 5.7K by mid-December before bouncing back to 7.3K at the end of the year. Active users fluctuated, reaching a low of 701K in late October and ending the year with 873K users.

Google Maps experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at 6.8K and dropping to 5.3K by the end of December. Active user numbers remained robust, peaking at 4.2M in early December.

Google Earth saw modest download numbers, ranging from 1.6K to 2.4K throughout the quarter. Active users increased from 20.9K to 26.5K, showing consistent growth.

vintrica Mobility downloads surged from 1.3K at the start of the quarter to 5.6K by the end, with active users also climbing from 5.8K to 12.1K.

SeTracker2 had a notable spike in downloads, reaching 5.2K in late December. Active users peaked at 8.2K, with revenue seeing a significant increase to $57 in the same period.
